I tattoo at Warhorse Ink in Ravenna, OH. (1 hr south of Cleveland,Oh) My road as a professional artist has been a journey. I graduated from The Cleveland Institute of Art in 2004 and started working at American Greetings right out of art school. After a short stint at AG and experiencing corprate life I moved into the freelance life which was difficult to understand and it took a lot of leg work and sales to make a living as an Illustrator/designer.

I found concept creation work around 2007 and pursued a life in film drawing characters and nerding out with monsters and other nerd artists but it wasn't in the cards. I applied to WETA workshop and other jobs but they were closed doors.

 

By 2009 I worked a 5 year stint at Cleveland Clinic Illustrating work for their education dept. I spent 5 yrs in the corporate world and that is where I learned you are just a number without a soul and expendable at any cost.

I kept freelance illustrating t-shirt designs while at the clinic and one day a tattoo shop (Focused Tattoos) in Cleveland became a customer of mine. 2 years later the tattoo industry chose me to be part of the band. I have been tattoooing since 2013. Thank you Jimmy Hayden for rolling the dice on me.

 

The tattoo industry has shown me that a being a tattooer is the top of the mountain, a large mountain as an artist. It has helped me live and work in Cleveland, LA and St Louis.

The tattoo industry is an amazing pool of talent and pirate artists living their best life.

 

I currently work at Warhorse Ink in Ravenna, Ohio. It's a small coutry town that is quiet. I love the quiet since living in LA. I am thankful to have fouund Warhorse Ink and I work with a great team.
